Brno – A pyromusical titled I Want to Dance! concluded the Brno-South Children's Day on Saturday, 1 June. The colourful show directed by Daniel Černý and Jaroslav Štolba from Flash Barrandov SFX amazed children and adults alike.

During the fireworks show, three hits by successful Czech band Mirai – “Tenkrát”, “Chci tančit” (which inspired the musical’s title) and “Když nemůžeš, tak přidej”. “The fireworks design was inspired by the rhythm and lyrics of the selected songs,” revealed the fireworkers. The sky was sparkling with many colors, multiple rainbow effects and golden shells during the faster parts of the songs, and the familiar melodies got the audience moving. During the hit "Když nemůžeš, tak přidej", many spectators were already swaying to the beat and a positive atmosphere prevailed among the audience.

Children came to watch the fireworks with their parents. “It was beautiful, very colourful,” said Anežka Remešová. “We like Mirai, so we couldn't miss the fireworks and it was great, I'm glad we saw the show,” Roman Jiroušek summed up his impressions.

The Prelude opened the 27th Ignis Brunensis fireworks festival and at the same time ended the Brno-South Children's Day. “I am glad that every year we are able to make the Children's Day programme better and better,” said David Grund, the Mayor of the Brno South district. The opening of the festival returned to Komárov again after a year.

The spectators can rate every show, including the fireworks overture on the official Facebook page of Ignis Brunensis or Rádio Krokodýl. By rating the fireworks, they enter the prize draw for return tickets for RegioJet trains and buses.

After the overture, the international fireworks competition will continue with four fireworks shows and two drone shows above the Brno Lake: on Saturday, 8 June the first drone show and the Czech fireworks show, on Wednesday, 12 June the German fireworks show, on Saturday, 15 June the second drone show and the “European” fireworks show (with international collaboration between a Czech team and several European fireworkers), and on Wednesday, 19 June the final Austrian fireworks show.
